Board Game Design
I created a game that applied modern game design principles to the classic theme of property development. Hasbro asked me to redesign it with the Monopoly theme. After two years of evaluation, they rejected it.
This new game solves the classic problems of traditional Monopoly:
it has a finite number of phases to ensure consistent game length
it has no player elimination, and game choices are positive
there are no dice, removing the ‘luck of the roll’ element
